I had a pretty good BBQ but it ended up being like, 60/40 on the work/fun scale and my presents, while not bad, weren't very... what I call, "OMG you hit 25!" kind of wow...

Let's see... I got a cross, a heart necklace, a batman logo necklace, a mario bros 1up mushroom plushie and a black yoshi plushie-charm; a camo-batman action figure (wtf people? I like VILLAINS!), a giant dragon candle holder, a gargoyle stand (their matching pairs on lay-away), a light up dragon statue, a microwave(?!!*) and the most hilarious (and most promising gift) a Cancer themed Dagger from my friend Ted.

* - A microwave... Seriously?! Did I skip the past 10 years and turn 35? e.e
Granted, I've been wanting one but it was like, in the 90's in my top 100 things I want list. Sigh. I should've made a list but... I didn't know what I wanted. (Until now that is. XD) -.-

HOWEVER! The food and the cake were 10/10 each! The burgers were awesome (as always). The egg/potato salad, superb! The chicken kabobs... OMG! THE KABOBS! My compliments to the chef (mom)... and Presidents Choice of course. XD

AND THAT CAKE! Holy hell! is the best and simplest way to describe how amazing it was. Picture this: A rectangular, triple-layer cake, with dark, red icing. Three, elegant, yellow roses accented by black foliage occupying each corner, with bright orange flames tracing up the sides out of border, black as coal, set a blaze with 25 silver candles...

So yeah... a 8/10 over all. The best gift was the dagger. I kinda wish they all had gotten me daggers. Ah well, at least the cake was epic. I just wish we used the Digital cam instead of those cheap, throw-aways you get at Blacks. I hope it comes out good. ;-;
